Educational Philosophy
Educators must help students become stakeholders in their education and make them more responsible for their success. Educators should guide students to the light by giving them responsibilities in their classrooms and in their schools. It is important that educators and parents raise our expectations of our students at an early age. If teachers make college a priority starting in elementary we can push students toward greatness and not just the minimum. Educators must create opportunities for students to own their education and own their success. In order for our educational system to flourish parents, educators, and students must all become stakeholders in the educational process.

Creating the Copyright PowerPoint was a great experience for me because it allowed me to truly understand what copyright infringement was truly about. It also gave me the capability to understand when I am using music and video and classroom what freedoms I have. I believe I know a little more about creating my on artistic works for my self.
Creating the Delicious Scrapbook helped me understand the importance of word efficiency when tagging with technology. It also taught me a valuable lesson in publishing websites. The Pythagorean Tease project gave me a whole new respect for creating video and movies. It helped me understand that timing is everything. The Subject Sampler I really enjoyed because it something can really help a teacher expand the knowledge of a topic within the framework of a classroom. The glog was difficult for me to really think outside the box and use the tools to create a masterful art peace. |
